On October 19, 2007 Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care organized a Tournament for Children under the motto “EVERY CHILD COULD BE AT THE TOP!”. The participants from the specialized institution competed in three sports –table tennis, basketball and badminton. The event was in honor of the high jump world record of Mrs. Stefka Kostadinova – 2,09 m.
The competition was excellently held and was broadly covered by the national media: Bulgarian National TV, BTV, BBT, Nova TV, Ring TV, Channel 3; Trud, 24 Hours, Standard, Sega, 7 Days Sport and Meridian Match Dailies; national radios and the Internet. The winners in the three kinds of sport received lots of prizes.
The Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care has been accepted as a full member of The International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA).
