Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care organizes that children from specialized institutions participate every year also in the National Streetball Championship.

It is the most large scale street basketball tournament in Bulgaria. 1500 teams and over 15 000 individuals participate yearly. The competition continues five hours and is held in the centre of the main Bulgarian cities.

In this way we put into practice integration methods. Some of the participants from the institutions for children deprived of parental care achieved already big success and this gives them confidence in their future.
