On February 26 and 27, 2008 Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care organizes the first NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE SPORTS AND PHYSICAL CULTURE PROBLEMS IN BULGARIAN RESIDENTIAL CARE INSTITUTIONS. The topics to be discussed will be:

Information about the joint activities of the Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care and the State Agency for Children Protection;

Discussion on new forms and means of improvement the support for the children in the residential care institutions in order to develop and express their abilities by the means of sport.

15.15 - 15.45 Information about the joint activities of the Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care and the State Agency for Children Protection, aimed at better socialization of the children in residential care institutions by means of sport.

15.50 - 16.30 Lecture on “Physical activity as a specific action of the environment for complex impact”
Lecturer - PhD Elena Nikolova, in charge of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education Department at the National Sports Academy.

16.30 - 18.00 Discussions.
