Bulgarian sports federation for children deprived of parental care in collaboration with Nova TV organize a charity football tournament for children from residential care institutions. The event will take place from 8th to 9th September 2010 in Sofia.
Apart from the children from the institutions and some popular faces from Nova TV, prominent Bulgarian sportsmen and footballers will join the tournament as volunteers. After the final match, a charitable match will be held on September 9th at the National Stadium, between the teams of the Premier of Bulgaria and the MTG stars. The funds, raised at this match, will be spent to buy sports appliances for the participating institutions. The winning team will represent Bulgaria at MTG Peace World Cup in Oslo.
The Peace World Cup is connected to the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize and is held in October every year. This is a forum, where children get to know new friends from all over the world through football and learn much about different cultures. This helps them understand how important is tolerance to different cultural values and to have respect for people around us regardless of their race or social status.
The winning teams will take part in the finals of the football tournament and also in different educational programs at the Nobel Peace Center and the Red Cross Representative Offices. They will participate in the traditional Peace Walk and the School of Tolerance, too.

The Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care has been accepted as a full member of The International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA).
